Week 9 Marathon Training Plan

Week 8 Recap:

Monday - 3 - Completed

Tuesday - 9 - Completed
Wednesday - 5  - Completed
Thursday - 9 - Completed
Friday - Off - Completed - Yes, please!
Saturday - Off - Completed
Sunday - 13.1 - Big D Half Marathon - Completed plus 3 - Paced a friend for 13.1 then added on 3 when I got home (since I missed a long run last Saturday due to my foot).

Week 9 Schedule:
Now, before I even start into this week, I am going to adjust my schedule.  I have an art show Friday-Sunday this week, and while I might be able to steal an hour on the treadmill, I realistically know that getting in 8 miles when I'm working from 8am-10pm is pretty unlikely... so I'm going to go for the long run on Thursday, and hope for some good maintenance miles over the busy weekend.

Wednesday - 5 (lowered from 6, so I can be prepared for making Thursday into the long run)

Can't believe we're on week 9 of 16... wow!!!  Getting close.
